Mission, Vision and Values
Our Commitment
The Sparks Police is committed to the Community Oriented Policing philosophy and has adopted “Comstat” as a crime-solving model. Through tactical analysis, intelligence-based policing, and community engagement, we believe in aggressively identifying those in our community who are engaged in criminal activity. By quickly identifying crime trends, we believe we can prevent future victims of crime and reduce the effects of criminal activity in our community. A crime prevented is better than a crime solved.
