The regional Street Enforcement Team (SET) is staffed by detectives from the Reno Police Department, the Sparks Police Department, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office and the University of Nevada Police Department. This unit is supervised by the Reno Police Department. SET is responsible for street-level narcotics complaints and operations, alcohol compliance checks as well as prostitution complaints and operations throughout Washoe County. Additionally, SET assists all partnering agencies with various ongoing cases when requested.
