The Sparks Tourism Facilities & Revitalization Steering Committee meets quarterly or by a call of the Chair or majority of members.

Time: Meeting times change with Committee availability 

Location: City Hall Lobby Conference Room, 431 Prater Way, Sparks. 

Purpose: Advise and make recommendations to Sparks City Council for use of lodging tax proceeds providing a direct benefit to projects or capital improvements.

Governing Authority:  Washoe County Taxes on Transient Lodging Act of 1999; Sec. 6.8

Appointing Authority: RSCVA, Sparks City Council, NRA

Number of Appointees: 5 voting members

Qualifications: 2 electeds, either Council members or the Mayor; 2 RSCVA board members (one representing motels and one representing NRA); one member of the Nevada Resort Association.
