The Redevelopment Agency meets on the last Monday of every month.

Time: All meetings take place immediately after the City Council meeting.

Location: City of Sparks Legislative Building, 745 Fourth Street.

Purpose: The Redevelopment Agency was created to revitalize the downtown area of the City of Sparks. The Agency acts as the public body to aid and cooperate in the planning, undertaking, construction or operation of redevelopment projects within the downtown area. 

Governing Authority: City of Sparks Resolution No. 1289, adopted October 11, 1977

Appointing Authority: General Election

Number of Appointees: 6 voting members

Qualifications: Members of the Agency are the Mayor and Council Members for the City of Sparks - Coterminous with elected term.
