Purpose: Maintain the building permit and related redevelopment function of the City as a self-supporting entity
Governing Authority: NRS 354.612; NRS 354.59893, Res 2543, City of Sparks Resolution 3057 (Advisory Committee)
Appointing Authority: Sparks City Council
Number of Appointees: 5 voting members
Qualifications:
- One representative of residential construction industry
- One representative of commercial construction industry
- One representative of construction industry
- One public officer or city employee who manages the fiscal affairs of the city
- One public officer or city employee who oversees directly the operation of the enterprise fund
Terms are four (4) years; the committee shall select a chairman.
