The Sparks Fire Department has a Ride-Along program for those who are interested in learning more about Sparks fire and what the fire service has to offer. Whether you are pursuing a career in the fire service or you just have a general interest we are here to help! The main goal for the Ride-Along program is to educate and provide insight into the fire service. Our Ride-Along program allows you to experience the job first hand learning the daily routine while responding to 911 calls from 8AM-5PM. As our guest, you will see and hear exactly how firefighters handle the wide variety of incidents that we encounter everyday.
Ride-Along Requirements
- Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
- All participants must fill out Ride-Along packet
- Participants must follow the dress code outlined in the Ride-Along packet.
- We do not allow guests to bring cameras or tape recorders to protect the privacy of those involved in emergency incidents.
- During a Ride-Along, participants must not interfere with any employee providing care or mitigating an emergency incident.
